Old hotel with lots of charm *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AA hotel, the getting old is. With a lot of enthusiasm and commitment are repaired the smaller flaws, but big boss personally care. The maid (Damika) who worked extremely hard and was surprised us every day with a different bed design (including the dollar certainly helped on the pillow). The staff throughout the hotel... Friendly, helpful and nice, some of them spoke even a little German. The exception was the chef, the clamping erte only the blond travelers-, instead of worrying about the kitchen. Fantastic beach location, only 10-15 meters, we had the palm trees garden and we were on the white beach, absolutely gorgeous. You had to just on the beach sellers and beach boys past. The guests were mixed, many Germans and Russians, but also Finland, Sweden and French. So overall a clean quiet hotel. Highly recommended is a trip on the train for a hundred rupees (60 cents) or by bus for ten Rupees (6 cents), a fantastic experience. The Tuk-tuks but fun, only here you have to negotiate the price in advance, otherwise you badly on the table pulled. The journey is a deterrent, 5a six hours. We have the driver 400 rupees for the the toll highway for those given, as a result, the time on three 1/2 Stundenreduziert. But you must make at least right at the airport. Return trip as well.
