Hotel Korona

The place of the hotel is super. It's about 1-2 minutes till the beach. Till the city with small train also just 10 minutes. By the way small trains stop just direct in front of the hotel! And it costs about 2 Lewa per person. Right in the near there are some shopping opportunities and supermarkets and further 1-2 minutes away telefon houses. The transfer time till the airport is about 20-30 minutes.

The hotel employees are all very friendly. One lady at the reception can even speak really good German, the other ones all English, but it's not that bad. Room cleaniness was the only small drawback. It was hardly everyday "cleaned", but also there's never excuses for that. . There were every day new hand towels which I found really good and the bed was arranged. But I wouldnt say it's perfectly cleaned. But this is not a reason not to recommend the hotel!!

The rooms have appropriate size and are clean (i've just mentioned the cleaniness drawback above). The arrangement of the furniture is super, there's nothing to add about it. Furthermore there's an airconditioner in every room. All further furniture things apply to other valuations!
We had our room to a pool side and there was no noise exposure. Afternoons it was of course a little bit louder, but having closed balcone door and with airconditioner on it was absolutely no problem.

We would recommend this hotel to every time of the year! It's clean and properly managed! There's hardly any critique to the hotel (room service, however it was only with us so). One can sleep there relaxed :-) . The price/performance ratio is super! As a small tip we would like to give to you, visit the restaurant "National" and the cocktailbar "Babylon". Both of them are very very good!
