Hotel Kristall

The Grossarltal was very contemplative and nevertheless one could reach all sights of interest in the Salzburger country well. We noticed positively that everything looked very well-kept and that there were no architectural blunders from the 70s as in the neighbouring valleys.

The staff was very friendly and attentive.
We were even asked by the cleaning maid, when our son slept and at what time she may clean the room. We had not experienced such courtesy even in our Thailand vacation ….

For children if necessary even buggies were available for use, so that one could relieve the trunk somewhat.

Had a spoiled taste, but one could really not complain about the food in the Hotel Kristall. One looked forward to each meal. Particularly positive to mention was that with good food in the hotel no scales were in the room. So one could enjoy the meal without bad conscience and worry only at home about the added pounds.

For children there was a well furnished game room with ping pong table, internet computer, kicker, tricycles, LEGOs, castle for tots etc. as well as in the outdoor area a playground with seesaw, swing, slide, sand box and a large trampoline with safety net. In our judgment perfectly sufficient, there one did not need to book a special children's hotel.
The spa area we did not use unfortunately, looked however very beautiful.

We had taken the hotel studio Rubin (ruby). All super clean and beautifully furnished. Although since 2005 in business, there were still no traces of wear at all and in my opinion not expected so soon.
Whoever was completely noise sensitive and disturbed by the few cars driving past, he should take a room at the back of the hotel.
For tots without even request a crib, a changing table and a diaper bucket were made available.

The Hotel Kristall offered a fantastic price-performance ratio of high quality.
My fear was that soon the few rooms were occupied by regular customers only and one had long previous reservation deadlines. The Hotel Kristall and the pleasant owner family offer was a great treat because they led an unusually good hotel with much personal commitment.
