Central hotel, good value for money *

The hotel L'Hermitage is a fairly new hotel which is reflected in the Neuwertigkeit of equipment and in the pleasant heated premises reflects ( good, especially in the Estonian winter ... ). Room is big enough, tastefully decorated, and the beds are very comfortable - we slept great every night. Unfortunately, there are many smoking room in the hotel - we could change in a non-smoking room. Bathroom is ok, but could be a little cleaner. Towels were changed daily. Sauna, but clean and tidy costs extra ( circa 30 € p.. P.. ). Hotel is in a great location, about 5 minutes walk on the Domberg ( Troompea) and on the Russian Orthodox church, the town hall you need about 12 minutes walk. Shopping possibilities for water etc. by the station, about 10 minutes. Front desk staff is very helpful, speaks for T. Even German! The only shortcoming in the hotel was the breakfast: There was everything, but not particularly delicious. Sausage and salmon looked a little nasty or just doesn't fit our German preferences in color and odour. The little croissants were the best. fruit salad was was very strange. However I would recommend this hotel, very good value for money. A few recommendations for dinner in the old town - Klostri Ait ( chic and mondern, estische cuisine), trojka ( Russian food with music and dancing), Gloria ( very sophisticated, the excellent food, but expensive). Taxi from the airport costs approximately € 10 .
