We stayed in May 2010 a 7 day circuit by car through the Brittany/Normandie and our six hotels independently booked over the internet. Unfortunately, it was very cold at night, five degrees during the day and at the 12 degrees. Otherwise the visit was very nice. Country and people are really worth a visit! Our 2nd stop at the hotel L'Hermine. The hotel is located on a side street right on a main square, the -except Sundays- free parking available. The surrounding area is optically not as nice, but you are by short distance to a very nice city center and sea made up for it. About a 15 minute walk and 3 minutes by car. We had a room on the second floor, there is no elevator. We booked a superior double room, but was very small. The double bed was tiny, there was a small flat screen TV available, but only with French programs. The bathroom had a bath tub with shower, sadly or shower curtain and cabins. A hair dryer is not available. The room and bathroom were very clean. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Our request for extra blankets were fulfilled immediately. We have paid complete 72 € for the night + 8 euros per person for breakfast. As this was rather spartan but the next time we visit, we would like to eat out for breakfast.
