Kuxushotel with drawbacks *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AL'Hermitage is a luxury hotel in a small apartment building 6 floors. Guests mostly came from Canada and Europe. A Designhaus with very refined but unterkühlten charm. Very well maintained and clean.
Location
It's right at the intersection Robson / corner Roberts. Central it is almost impossible to top this, because everything (Yale, downtown, Chinatoum, Granville Waterfront etc. )can be reached easily on foot. The downside -- it is really noisy. There were some rooms facing the courtyard, but only a few, a supermarket, and an abundance of Starbucks, etc. in the immediate area. Parking garages just across the street. (Valetvom hotel 25 --p. Day)
First it worked at check-in. Wrong room ( asisan, confusion. Staff) and 1 hour to the mistakes were clarified. Then, a/c in the room which was so loud fibriete, the conversation difficult. Despite 3 -4maligem havel ask after hours a mechanic, the stated --nothing to do. We were offered another room for 1 night. The next morning the hotel manager gave appeared with no demand that this was the only free suite and offered us his best room (but without kitchen) and free breakfast for 5 days.
Gastronomy
There is only breakfast restaurant, however everything was very delicious and super fresh. Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. Price 15 --p. P.. Buffet.
Sport & Entertainment
A very nice pool area above the rooftops in 5. Floor in an unexpectedly nice garden. Jacuzzi, pool about 25°C great beach towels and beach chairs. Quiet oasis! Fitness room with all appliances-top quality. A refined library, cigar lounge. "Buissenesecke, wireless Internet access.
Room
We had booked a suite with a kitchen. The decor of the room, --only the most expensive and most stylish! Very tasteful from Italy and France. Technology from Germany ... The kitchen equipped with "everything" about 30,000 . -- Euro. The bathrooms were rather small, the bedroom on the small side, a bed for 2.140 cm. The living room with fireplace refined, plush but ..... Somewhat too Mutch!! The next room was a suite with no kitchen, cozy and with a terrace. But also very plush. The room service was just the best--2 times a day.
Tips and recommendations
The<hotel is a dog-friendly hotel is located in a Luxuskörbchen (a Brooms in the lobby). The staff was very friendly and courteous, but not really, but totally "mood" make you feel special, there are no to spreading.
