Hotel L'aunette Cottage

The place is conveniently located near a highway exit, but in the garden you hear nothing. Making this an ideal hotel to get to. Nearby there are several restaurants - the hotel has a clear map.

The owners are very friendly. Understanding their English was no problem. The rooms were perfectly clean. We did not use any of the additional services.

There was a very large breakfast room that played Cuban music, which I enjoyed as part of my family are Cuban. Breakfast was a delight - from delicious coffee to cocoa for our son, fresh fruit salad, fresh bread, rolls, toast, croissants, yoghurt, a good selection of cold meats and cheeses to jams and home-made cakes. If I remember correctly bacon and fried egg was also offered. Everything your heart desires. In the evening they will bring you a light snack and a beer, but we only did this on our arrival night. The hotel allowed us to return late to the hotel in the evening.

We did not take any of the leisure opportunities as we wanted to see Paris. Presumably most guests were like us, but the sun and the deck chairs by the pool looked like a nice atmosphere. In the evening a few guest were sitting outside enjoying the evening. Internet access was also available.

The two rooms which we had were very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom also large and clean. Everything was in mint condition. TV, water etc were provided. We were not missing anything.

Coming from the motorway, hotel visitors can be regarded as "residents", so can turn right in to a one way street. Mobile phone access was good. The value for money is fine, rare in such nice hotels.
