Elegant beach hotel, ideal for excursions *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Awe had the hotel for 2 days after our Caribbean cruise holiday booked. The hotel lies ideally located between airport and port direct at the beach, in the district of Condado. Some shops, restaurants and bars are in the immediate proximity. To absolutely worth seeing old-San Juan is about 20 minutes with the taxi (American dollar 18). The whole area was very clean and mordernly decorated. Lounge nearby the front desk, as well as in the outdoor area, lovely terrace by the pool with refined places to sit and piped music. A pool is located 2 at the beach and there is comfortable beach chairs with a view of the ocean. We had a double room booked with pool view, but got without extra charge a room with ocean view. Absolutely fabulous! Huge window floor-to-ceiling, fantastic view of the beach and the ocean, comfortable Sitting area, large Designbathroom with shower, flat-TV with Surroundanlage and DVD player and a coffee maker. The breakfast we have traditionally, in the Starbucks, a few meters from the hotel, to us. For dinner but we were in the hotel belonging 'La Perla' restaurant. As the name suggests the restaurant has the form one mussel, quaint and chic. The food was oK, but upper price category!
