Budget hotel in a good location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A Awere with 4 people in total for a week at the La Quinta for NY to meet. Our room was large enough for 4 people (size of the beds is for two people it was ok). Room and bathroom were very clean even the changing of towels and sheets was completely ok. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The selection of bagels, toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. Was the same every day. Also, that it for breakfast only plastic dishes and plastic silverware, left a strange impression. The breakfast room was also very crowded at times. All in all was the breakfast (considering the fact that it was included in the price), but ok for the day once a bit in the stomach. drive to Manhattan worked with the bus from outside the hotel and also come back in the evening is great. A trip (return) cost about $8 and takes you to the 42ten street near Times Square. Close to the hotel (ca. 2,0 km or 20 minutes walk) are a supermarket and a lot restaurants. The steak house and RedLobster are highly recommended. there you can also use the free shuttle service from the hotel. All in all we had a little over a week in NY and the hotel you can definitely recommend for a city break.
