La Quinta Park Suites *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOur trip this year led us with the Aida from Hamburg to Tenerife. At the end we spent a week in Tenerife at the Hotel La Quinta park suites in Santa Ursula (in Puerto de la Cruz) while we have really enjoyed the ship, we were rather disappointed! In the following a few things, (unfortunately) we very negative noticed: the entire hotel made a 'worn' impression. The worst was that the carpets in the hallways to the rooms to see: they were fallen 'filthy', with numerous stains and unprecedented tzten bodies. The rooms made a good impression, when taking a number of shortcomings, however, watch out: toilet seat and lid were yellowed and were not always cleaned well. At the shower separation on the bath tub was defective and the silicone moldy. The sink in the kitchen has an ageing cracks, the water tap was mold and deposits available. The stove were chipped. The cloth edge was rotting the bed (!). The substance 'crackled' formal, if you moved. Furthermore, the seam was down accordingly dirty. 'Fear' for further discoveries we have not seen the beds... The pool area was very much, but also here the very 'worn' so you tell the tie in the back strongly. The same applied for the cushions of all chairs in the dining room, bar and terrace. These were regular 'sat flat' no padding and more to offer. A nice touch was the miniature golf area, their trains over the whole hotel area were distributed. Unfortunately there were many of the trains not playable as the coating on the part. Strip way out was torn and felt quite neglected and unplayable. A big minus got the food. While the breakfast was acceptable (should have been chilled to, for example, the orange juice in the decanters; this was lukewarm) dinner offered the possibility to get full, but not to enjoy. Many of the fish/meat dishes were together with the sauce in aluminium containers offered (which stew, fish dish and the like is totally in order). However, where hundred guests in the sauce with a spoon of the fillets that 'fishing' one can imagine how in shortest time that looks. Finally the eye eat with. The salads were nice but also very sumptuously decorated after the hundred guests then looked rather chaotic. The vegetables looked often mushy from already from the outset, the fries frittes also (this cooled in the aluminum containers to quickly). Only the ice cream tasted really great! A plus goes to the staff at the front desk. Here were all very friendly and always tried, also 24 hours occupied this, what our early departure (six in the morning o'clock) very relieved (they offered us even breakfast, although that was only later to get). Nothing destro despite our stay in Tenerife we really enjoyed, and the hotel however we will, despite the nice location, do not recommend this hotel.
