Luxury residence in a fantastic location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel La residencia is Member of the prestigious chain of Orient Express hotels, to the also the homonymous legendary train belongs. The house is located in the centre of the EAFRD Künst pitoresken village of deia and consists of four different ancient buildings, the shape of a mountain of the Tramuntana mountains were built. In the middle of the building is the nice big pool. The hotel features 64 room of different categories. Single double room, junior suites and superior suites, but also with private pool suites and private gardens. Have we stayed in such a suite (no 64). The room size was about 100 sq m, divided into living room and bedroom, a small kitchen and a large bathroom. On the terrace is a about 4 times 8m large private pool. Breakfast and service were the hotel standard.
Conclusion: a beautiful hotel in the middle of beautiful nature lovers, great to relax. After two or three days we however missed shopping and dining. Rental car is indispensable. The price/performance ratio is high to very expensive.
