Vorsciht construction and disfunctional management *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is very nice, nice rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff, wonderful beach and clear sea! Everything what you want from a four star hotel 1/2 expect! Currently there are construction work at the hotel! These start at eight hours to about 18 o'clock every day! There will be new rooms built! Of sleep, or maybe an afternoon nap, there is no reference! Furthermore, the pool is wonderful, the air-conditioning in all rooms filled as well as a little paint everywhere! LT our tour operator only the construction of ten o'clock until 16 o'clock held every day! So we have the front desk informed, that we will have a quieter room. We were put off at night! In the evening the manager could speak with us! It would do him so sorry, but as a compensation we got four dinner with drinks and tomorrow a new room! So far so good! The next day nobody knew about it more! A new room does not exist and we get instead of four dinner only two menus with 1 glass of wine! The manager did not look! There was a letter in our room where everything is exactly as it stood! Should we sign, so that we nothing claim against the hotel! So, back to front desk! The manager was not easy! There is no other room and only two menus! The tour operator on Phu Quoc no seat! So we called departures in Hanoi with FTI! Then negotiate that was going on! FTI tried everything! The lady manager negotiated with the four menus! A new area is not, as the great expensive construction hotel is full! Okay we took the offer to! The next night we had a letter in our room! By State on the five dinner we got! Great we only three days! The dinner changed over to lunch, a back and forth! Especially in the restaurant that again no one knew always only once and the front desk had to be switched on, if we wanted to eat lunch! All in all we felt from the management and the front desk ladies total fooled! It is all so bent as who wanted it! Certain things, including a pool remodeling, painting, and you can fill in the restaurants near eason make! Everything a question of organization! We have stayed several times four and five star hotels visited, but we have never experienced something like that! My recommendation is, for the next half year to stay away from La veranda! But I think the conclusion after the construction is definitely very nice! Oh yeah! Be careful with the food and drink in the hotel! It is at the end of a service fee as well as taxes! No problem at all, even if it was going to be on the menu! So you pay for two glasses of coke at the end of 6 $, right next to the hotel in the restaurant but only $1.70!
