The Ungemütlichkeit in person *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe don't Soo demanding, but that was an absolute no-go!!! The hotel is a weißgepinselter raw concrete building in the distance, be considered a stately area, and in detail in the charm of a 70 -years he Zweckbaus. The rooms, at least ours: also decorated in a simple JCB digger,building/look, bricked beds (only with jackhammer move! ) Nothing for couples, almost working TV and fridge miniscule ( but a bit noisy as a large). The size of the bath was actually sufficient, but the shower is a Gebrauchtkauf Russian space program/maximum small with just a shower curtain, with the po were sticky, a if you are moving. A fan was missing, but if you strong enough, you also get their balcony door postponed, we immediately a battle with the copious amounts somewhat Big-Brother -mosquitoes. Unfortunately from our Günstigurlaub a Teuerurlaub: The mistake: We booked with half board. As the food, especially the breakfast and dinner, a bit lifelessly seemed so uncomfortable was/as full neon herabschien on us, we ate mostly outside. The background music varied from the only two Cd's. One was U2, the other Suicide-accompanying Greek music. Also the smiling face of all the waiter could not neutralize. The decoration of the table ( flowers) always looked fresh from ( Kunstblumen, red carnations/may be imported from the GDR). Nee, no way ... To compare we visited a ot ao accomodations, for the same price. We can recommend Uncle George with very good food or Aptera beach, only 100 meters toward the beach, it was situated directly at the beach. However, we have to say that everything was always kept clean ( the cleaning ladies went to work at 6 :30am! You can hear it!!! ), The staff was always friendly- we didn't tried to complain, we have survived and lasted. If you are thinking according to the report ennoch to book you must have a car or Motorrrad and continue to Rethymno and Ag. Nicolaos and it is essential to the south of the island and stay elsewhere/improve the mood significantly. A nice holiday!
