Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe newly adapted country house "Lamione" welcomes it's guests with hospitality and charme. Sig.ra Nicoletta and her cook Marisa provide an atmosphere making you feel like at home.
We spent 7 days with Sig.ra Nicoletta, incl. Breakfast and Dinner. Usually we prefer to take dinner in several kind of restaurants during our stay at a place. But the excellent cuisine "forced" us to take Dinner in Lamione every day. Handmade pasta, local recipes from "la mama" and local spices make every dish a feast.
Sig.ra Nicoletta is warmhearted and provides many hints and directions for the beach, culture, folklore, local habits and so on. Nicoletta is fluent in German and English and we also heard her talking French.
The house itself is 300 years old and build out of stone. Even during the warm days, all rooms stay cool enough for a relaxing sleep. The interior has been renovated in 2009. All rooms are comfortably equipped and conform the standards of an agriturismo.
The location is only 1.5 hours away from Napoli, Vesuvio and Pompei. The next sandy beach is 15 minutes by car.
