Amazing Casa Rurales - Other side of Gran Canaria

Location
You will never find a more spectacular location to rent a villa than this. The towering mountains encircle the casa which is at the highest part of the small but totally rural village of El Rincon - so not overlooked. You look down the valley (more like a gorge) towards the sea and there is snow covered Mount Tiede on Tenerife floating in the clouds out to sea. Beautiful gardens full of flowering shrubs and also full of herbs to use in cooking and fruits to use in the breakfast and desserts (passion fruits, bananas, papayas, kumquats, lemons, oranges). The photos on the website do not do it justice
Immaculate. And surprisingly a beautifully clean and maintained toilet up by the pool area !!

Pool was a little cool in mid-December but we didn't expect it to be heated and wouldn't want it. A quick dip was all that was required and the sea was just perfect for entended swims
