Good choice for winter holiday for a couple
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A A We booked this hotel via LIDL for 5 nights. The package also included half-board [halbpansion], and some spa-treatments i.e. 15-min in massage-chair and one anticellulite session.
Hotel has very nice swimming pool about 10m long, clean and in good conditions two types of saunas, one infra-red sauna. All those facilities are in good conditions and we spent there every afternoon after skiing.
The location of the hotel is not best - no area for evening walk or going out to the bar/cafe. This is a minus is you like to go out in the evening.
Although there is no ski-resort directly at the hotel, you can get to the nearest ski-area Goldeck in just about 15min. Goldeck is nice ski area, however it is pretty small and doesn't have a decent cafe or reasturant.
We tried it first day, but next day decided to visit other ski-places. The best one we found is Moelltaller Gletcher, which is around 38km [40min] drive from the hotel. But it is definitely worth to go there for skiing.
Coming back to the hotel: The personal is very helpful and friendly.Good tips and instructions on questions e.g. about nearest ski-lifts, good sport shop, etc. Dinners were all nicely organized with small daily program e.g. live folks-music. Food was very delicious, mainly traditional/national food.
I would recommend it to a friend.
