My favorite island close to Athens. From Pireus 30 minutes away by boat ( The ferry takes a bit longer). Small and well arranged. A car is not necessary, by bus you could all destinations. But I would recommend renting a scooter. The traffic on the island stops really okay. The island is wonderful green ( walking and cycling are a pleasure although center of the island somewhat more) and has beautiful beaches. No sandy beach ( if you the sandy beach in Scala ignored. I personally at the weekend full)! Don't forget your flip-flops. There were enough restaurants. The rooms in the to the beach facing houses on the first floor are recommended for the sea view. It was clean and the owner nice. There is no self-contained front desk, the owner takes care of everything in its tavern in front. To the size of the island it is fine. Breakfast is served in the tavern. You'll be full ... If you are looking for party on this island is wrong!
