Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOnly about 15 minutes by shuttle boat separate the grounds to the airport island paradise. The hotel shuttle must necessarily be booked as there is no other way to leave the airport island. While the 02.03.2010 the cyclone "Oli" some of the buildings in Bora Bora ( partly difficult) damaged, the Le Meridien is but with a few damages at roofs of overwater bungalows had glimpflich. From the repair work in the area is difficult to remember. The buildings have been concerned concern closed, which however not affect the overall impression. The hotel is situated to the east of Bora Bora on a motu overlooking the 747 high Inselberg, behind the sun evening under. Right by the restaurant is a very large lagoon. In this is a Naturschutzreservat, in the sea turtles. Tourists can swim with the sea turtles daily servicing snorkeling. This is a special experience, not to be missed. Across the lagoon side are very large beach bungalows. Two bungalows are separated by a Mittelhaus, so four adults together a very large house ( bungalow, Mittelhaus, bungalow) inhabit together. Every beach bungalow had its own hammock, and private terraces. The Mittelhäuser have their own private pool. The rates at Le Meridien are of a high standard, what this island is not unusual (for example 330 ml. Hinano - local beer - for 4 EUR or a Cheesburger for 29 EUR or breakfast for 30 EUR). In short, if you want to visit this paradise, its wide open-minded traveller and the same plan with. The leisure facilities are varied ( jet ski, massage, fitness center, windsurfing, snorkeling, diving, canoeing etc. .. ). In general, Le Meridien a very good choice if the generally high island-rates not bother you.
