Nice hotel with comfortable atmosphere *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFantastic hotel area in a beautifully laid out tropical garden with great equipped rooms and a large bathroom with all the comforts and service. There are several restaurants (Thai, Japanese, Italian, etc.) with a great atmosphere and tasty food on a European price level. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Highly recommendable are the changing theme evenings with music and Thai dances. It was cheaper to take the bus or a scooter (in the hotel) to Khao Lak to try the cheaper restaurants; but they were also very delicious. The beach outside the hotel area is very nice and clean, the pool is huge (spa-pool very quiet). Also otherwise a versatile active-program going on (spa, yoga on the beach, cooking lessons, sailing, diving... Etc.), exciting day trips (elephant trekking, James-Bond Island, snorkel trips with speedboat), which can be booked from a nice and competent travel agency in the hotel. All in all a good time in this palace. Excellent in a great area (Khao Lak offers a great mix of tranquillity with good infrastructure for activities) and a typical extremely friendly service for Thailand. We will be back!
