5 star plus hotel-I can hardly believe... ☹ *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AFor an overnight stay at the weekend we stayed at the hotel royal le Meridien in Hamburg to and from the hotel. Front desk was okay and without any complaint. At 13:00 o'clock room not ready. Okay then shop in the city. As a couple we are already long logged on- in the room then only one bathrobe including shoes. Why? Spa area very small with two saunas. Room not available at all; it is also only about ten hooks to hang the towel as well as only 10-12 loungers by the pool with corresponding Volume of the pools/hot tubs and of the guests. Beach chairs were nearly permanent occupied. Seat possibilities hardly available. Twice apple spritzer ordered and what comes after about 30 minutes? Even drinks and beverages 0.2 0.3 in the best plastic cups a la amusement park. Sorry but that wasn't't why quantities? Room so far very good and nicely furnished but what is the? About 7 centimeter long crack in the duvet below? Hello housekeeping? Something you couldn't overlook. This is a five stars superior hotel? Yes no is clear... Sorry but for those rate must be more to come. Why no reference to the spa area in the room and the breakfast buffet in a flyer in the room? Also, the toilet downstairs in the bar area to name but a few: of course, there is more going on there than anywhere else but you must also reduce the margin of the cleaning forces by point of view, I was three times in two days on the toilet and each time it looked not very inviting with paper on the floor and wet gewischten Toilettendeckeln. Noted is however the great breakfast terrace with views over the Alster lake-it was fantastic and made up for a lot. The concierge was very helpful and which involved a great restaurant has enabled. The service was less than I expected and I'm not picky...
