Very good hotel, unfortunately in the years *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI was for the officer ball in Le Montreux palace. On arrival I was fascinated by the sight of the hotel extremely. Just as one imagines the place, where officers partying.HCLFHLThe check-in worked great, but unfortunately, there was no one from the front desk staff German. I think it is in such a high rated hotel, that you could at least the main country language.HCLFHLOur room had a nice view of the lake of Geneva and the French Alps. The decor was very harmonious and matched the appearance of the hotel, but a bit dated (not dirty or broken) and a bit depressing. We were on the fourth floor... in other words, non-renovated rooms.HCLFHLOur room was urgently needed a renovation you could find in the bathroom. Everything here is very tastefully and ornate with marble and expensive mountings installed. Unfortunately had the door of the shower function abandoned their acts and left very much water from the shower Tiles... there were sufficient towels available fortunately, which we could use for absorption :-)HCLFHLThe food: we had a six course menu, it tasted great. The plates were a true work of art, and the taste was absolutely great! The breakfast buffet varied, but some dishes were tasty a huge decline from dinner. Although it is fine salmon had, I could not convince the buffet, because of the cold cuts was almost a disaster... just about what I in Spain in a 3-star hotel have the buffet.HCLFHLHCLFHLThe Spa area we used also, this was through an underpass under the main reachable. The pool area is already installed, but unfortunately the whirlpool of men its splendid days already behind itself, because it was entirely scratched and peeling paint on the floor from.HCLFHLTo sum up: great hotel with small drawbacks, the hotel, at these prices, should not have.HCLFHL
