Small but nice *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were a bit skeptical, since the hotel was "only" two stars, but some 3 star hotel in this in friendliness and service, hiding can could learn a lot. It already began at check-in. The friendly lady at the front desk tried every day - as they knew we do not speak french - with hands and feet and some Deutchkenntnissen to communicate with us. On our departure day you us as we left too early, nor extra are a water kettle, coffee and breakfast delivered to your room and sandwiches. The hotel is not very big and the rooms were very small, but always clean and neat. The beds were very good and in the bathroom would be daily shower gel laid out. We needed were only going to be sleeping, as it is not a problem, if it is smaller. Especially we would like to highlight the good food. In the evening there was a 4 -course. Menu, what was always very tasty. You could also chose something else, but if you miss something eat. The breakfast was also very appealing for French standards and very good. Across the street you to beautiful sandy beach. However only went bathing in the afternoon, as in the morning was always low tide and the water far away. There is a pool, but we didn't use it. Five minutes walk started the Fußgangerzone with lovely little shops and restaurants. As an excursion we can La Rochelle, Il de Re and La des Sables recommend. We can recommend the best hotel know. We booked via its and for a week on half board paid 447,50 euro per person.
