Henderson is a town, about 15 kilometer from Las Vegas is located. We stayed in the lake Las Vegas resort. Here you want something for the heeled Americans a small oasis. The area of Las Vegas, as we all know, is very similar and desert takes you into an area, the green lawns, waterfalls and beautiful buildings only strozt. There is currently a large golf, where we are at a temperature of more than 40 °C issues, who will play here?! Lake Las Vegas is a very large lake the lake meat (Hoover dam) is supplied. Excursions to the Hoover dam or the Grand Canyon to make would like is here very good. You drive to the airport, from where you can enjoy flights to and can start on the Grand Canyon, not more than a 1/4 hour. 30 minutes once again more and you are at the Hoover dam. The hotel offers during the day a free shuttle service to Las Vegas at.
We stayed here at the end of our large California/Nevada-tour and at the entrance to the hotel could't believe our luck. A huge pool area or Lake Las Vegas swimming or Pedal boats, everything was possible. We are in the evening then to Las Vegas with the own car mess. There is free parking in the garage of the hotel flamingo. The journey takes about 45 minutes, however. The shuttle is so long, but in the evening at 23:00 o'clock and with all the famous hotels to be a little tight.
