Good Value for money *

As we heard a lot of negative apprehension about New York hotels we came with low expectations at the hotel and were actually prompt for one night upgraded us to a suite (we had actually booked a standard double room). The suite was incredible (except that the light in the bathroom to put on makeup not enouh). But even the standard double room, in the we after the 1 . Had to move night, was more spacious than we thought it would be and very clean. The noise level was kept within limits, although the hotel is very centrally located in Midtown. The location of the hotel could not have been better, it didn't really too far to walk to all the sights (even to the southernmost part of Manhattan's you don't need more than half an hour). The bathroom was a little small, but it was still acceptable. The staff was very friendly. We went to the cafe for breakfast every morning, the right downstairs area. The selection was not too large and the staff a bit rude, but the quality of the food was good and the price not too high. Additionally, we received a discount to hotel guests. All in all we can highly recommend this hotel.
