Hotel Los Gigantes

Short distance to the beach the sand was the usual volcanic black, with the backdrop of the Los Gigantes mountains which are stunning.Nice shops i.e. gift shops reasonably priced, Lladro shop expensive, leather shop, and supermarkets good. The route to the beach is downhill so returning to the hotel is rather steep coming back.

Staff courteous and friendly,also nice to see the manager around the hotel speaking to the guests and welcoming new ones.Most staff spoke English. Room was cleaned thoroughly and always early in the morning .

Dining area spacious, beach snack bar very good all spotlessly clean. Huge selection of food to choose from including Mediterranean,, English.Relaxing atmosphere in this lovely hotel, drink prices typical hotel prices.

Evening entertainment very good something different each night very enjoyable.
Something going on most of the day round the pool area ,aqua aerobics , games, and quiz but not intrusive if sunbathing round the pool. Stunning sea view from the pool this area is immaculate and plenty of sunbeds each one with a shade, also showers around pool area are cleaned regularly adding to the cleanliness cant find a fault.

Twin room was very spacious and spotless, on the 7th floor a sea view to die for the panorama of the Atlantic and the Los Gigantes mountains beautiful.Bathroom shower always hot straight away .The big plus was the fridge in the room not having to pay anything extra for it,nice to come in and have a chilled drink. The hotel is a bit seventies in style otherwise excellent.

The mini market attached to the hotel excellent value compared to other supermarkets for the items stocked.
