Great holiday on Tenerife at the Los Hibiscos! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt wasn't overly crowded, which is really important for me. We found our room to be very clean every day. The all-inclusive offerings were really varied and delicious. There were many German as well as Dutch guests of mixed age.
Location
The each was max. 5 minutes away on foot, and the airport could be reached by bus in about 15 minutes. Plenty of shopping opportunities right near the hotel. The nightlife in the district of Veronica, a few minutes away, offered a lot of fun. :-D
We could explore every major city and other attractions such as the Teide in 2 days for little money using a rental car.
The staff at Los Hibiscos was very accomodating, almost everybody spoke at least English, and the front desk staff and many waiters even spoke German. The room looked great every time it had been cleaned.
Gastronomy
The Los Hibiscos restaurant offered top quality food. I didn't observe one table that had just been vacated that wasn't newly set within 3 minutes.
The culinary style had been influenced by German practices, which was surely due to the German chefs working there. The atmosphere at the buffet was unfortunately a bit hectic now and then, and it was a bit annoying to sometimes have to stand and wait for the food that was being freshly prepared.
Sport & Entertainment
The entertainers offered an active, sporty and really fun program everyday, but unforunately, not enough guests participated in it in my opinion. Those who did participate had a lot of fun. Thanks again to the entire entertianment team, especially those who sometimes partied in the club with us party animals until 5am ;-)
Room
A great room with its own big balcony, which had just been newly renovated.
Tips and recommendations
Unfortunately, there was neither free WIFI nor internet access available, which is a must theses days in hotels of this category.
