Rather disappointed from the hotel *

You won't get along without a rental car. Our bathroom and the bathroom of our neigbor was moldy, not only a little but rather severe. The mold started at the washing basin and made its way up to the ceiling where it ended. True black mold, even in the seamings of the tiles were the spores, because there are no ventilation systems or windows in the bathrooms. Even if the cleaning lady wipes properly it makes no difference. The food was the same each day. One day it was broccoli, the other it was cauliflower, and the meat dishes changed between turkey and pork, only the fish dishes varied. The pool was as cold as the ocean. We were in there for 5 minutes and ended up freezing for the rest of the evening. The television in the room was so small that you almost needed magnifying glasses in order to recognize a thing. And the reception is very bad as well. I know, when you're on vacation you shouldn't watch TV, but when the weather is bad, and there is absolutely no activity in the hotel, you have to come back to it. The rooms are so badly sound-proffed, we heard our neighbor snoring every night, as if he would be lying in our room. As nearly everyone came with a rental car, the parking spots are gone very fast in the evenings. The bed was also not very comfortable. For the first time in my life I got back pains from a mattress, probably because it was a older one, on which were also stains.
We are rather disappointed from the hotel, as the ratings actually promise something else. The positive thing about the hotel is the staff, they were all really nice. But a good hotel requires more. In the hotel, we were talking to two other couples, as we already thought we are too demanding, but they had the same opinion.
