One of the best hotels in Dubai *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were already in the Dar Al Maysaf for the second time and once thing is sure the hotel and the complete area was one of the best in Dubari. The rooms were very big and arranged typical of the country with everything that you had to have.
The whole hotel area was built in an Arabic style and was very very worth seeing. The guest structure was nicely mixed. This year a lot of Germans were there. Last year at the same time we had the feeling that hardly any guests from Germany visited the hotel.
We had overnight stay and breakfast which in Dubai was always the right choice. Breakfast we always ate at the pool.
The hotel on the whole was very very clean and maintained very well.
Location
About the location I guess you don't have to say anything more. For me personally one of the best in Dubai if it concerned the best beach and excursion possibilities.
The beach was really super. Absolutely clean and very wide spread. You really only got that in the Madinat area!!!
With a taxi you could reach really everything worth seeing around Dubai for cheap prices. And now the the metro in working it got even easier. But with the taxi it was a bit more comfortable ;-)
The service in the complete hotel area was really good. For communication you should be able to speak a bit of English though.
The cleaning of the rooms was ok.
What we noticed negatively compared to last time where the longer waiting times with the buggies. If the hotel was full it could sometimes take quite a while until someone came.
Gastronomy
We only had breakfast which we always ate by the pool. The choice was super and there was something there for everyone. You should definitely try the omelette. It was world class!!!
Otherwise in the hotel there were a lot of eating possibilities. Here in any case you should visit the Meat & Co and the Italian. Super tasty!!!
Sport & Entertainment
The pool was big and offered enough space for the guests. You could also use the pools in the others hotel in the Madinat area. There should be something for everyone. We only lay at the beach though and therefore often jumped into the ocean.
There was also the Wild Wadi, a waterparc. You could also spend a bit of time there. It was super funny. For us the stay was free the whole time.
Room
Were big enough and well equipped. We were only there for sleeping and showering anyway :-)

What you should desperately look at...
Mall of Emirates:
Big shopping center with a ski hall and a lot of stores and eating possibilities
Iban Batutta Mall:
Super elegant mall with different country areas which were created typical of the country. Well worth seeing!
Dubai Mall:
Big shopping center with a lot of entertainment possibilities...
- Very big aquarium with everything your heart desired
- SEGA game parc
- Dubai fountain show (wow)
