Heaven on earth - our honeymoon at Magic Reef

We married 2 days before we achived the other side of the world: the Magic Reef at Rarotonga. It was a dream of us to have our honeymoon at a southpacific island. We checked all resorts, and we`ve found a lot of excellent reviews about the Magic Reef. That`s why we booked our honeymoon there.
The beach is very clean and you are alone there at the most time.Only a few nosy dogs will visit you.
Sometimes you will see other guests. Everybody is relaxed and very friendly: In our time at Magic Reef we meet people from England, Spain, New Zealand. At the reception you will see the flags of the citizenship of the guests- thats a funny gag to see you own flag blowing only for you at the end of the world...
Beautifull sunsets you may see, especially after rain. Then the sunlight is reflected in the last clods and that is a picture you`ll never will forget. We mad a lot of fantastic pics of that spectacle.
Meals: we booked breakfast. The service crew brings your breakfast a day before and stored it in the refrigerator: toast, butter, jam, milk, juice, corn flakes. Whether you need more you may buy in the next supermarket.
Summary: absolute recommendable!
Location
2 absolute beachfront bungalows, perfect for honeymooners (there we were)
6 or 8 garden bungalows, all with sea view embed in palms and other tropical botanicals, enouth distance to others to feel alone in paradise
no spiders, snakes or mosquitos, only a lot of ants (dont forget any leftovers of meals outside of the bungalows)
very clean bungalows in beautiful polynesian style
very friendly atmosphere
very obliging service by Judy, Barry and it`s crew
Judy and Barry are the owners of the Magic Reef: all you like to know- they have the answers.
We never had such a obliging and friendly service.

next to Magic Reef you will find restaurants, => try the Waterfront Restaurant (fantastic meals, best seaview, book a dinner while sunset- you will see why we recommend this time ...)
Sport & Entertainment
we rate Sport /Entertainment with excellent, because we expected no sports or entertainment.
Wether you need to be entertained, you should not book at Magic Reef, because you will find there absolute silence and relaxation.
You may have fun in a pool in the middle of the resort. Other activities you will find at other locations at Rarotonga, but not at Magic Reef, thanks God.
Room
excellent equiped bungalow: complete kitchen incl basic aliments, bathrron very nice and the best: shower and bath tub outside and the backside of bungalow, separated by a flagging wall to all others,
very comfortable double kingsize bed in polynesian style => all in one: BEAUTIFUL.
the seafront of bungalow is glazed, so you have all time the best view at the beach and the sea/ reef.
Tips and recommendations
Take water shoes with you: there are a lot of spiky corals in the lagoon between beach and reef.
