Very exclusive and really expensive *

One of the best hotels in Cannes. Everything was very exclusive and upscale. Very nice rooms, very good beds, and great view of the garden, pool and the sea. It is also an ideal location for a stroll. Sadly at the check-in the lady at the front desk the room rate including breakfast questioned (booked, confirmed and paid through Expedia), they said it would be a mistake, and the price (not cheap) could only without breakfast... (wrong if you want breakfast extra paid costs? Euro 40 per person/day...) so really money for four nights; well, she said she took care of and will be on Expedia-we have heard nothing more. The same lady gave us to the room and opened the wrong door... Still occupied. We had almost 50 minutes. And complain twice on our bags wait. (also not five stars quality) at the check-out you not try the breakfast extra charge... I would rather think doomed former for the hotel. Oh Yes and the parking garage (valet parking) cost Euro 40, -/ day ☺ Everything else must also be paid extra: Internet, Autowaschen, Spa. We had no bathrobes in the room (was forgotten by the maid)-we weren't sure, whether you might pay for the extra settled? (we didn't!) so in sum 'elitist' a hotel with weaknesses at the front desk and the service.
