This huge hotel location is out of this world. So beautiful it was hard to take it all in.from the second you walk into the lobby, which feels like you're walking into a palace, to heading out to the beautiful grounds.amazing!

Multi cultural guests which is great.Turkish, German, Russian, (I don't particularly enjoy going to another country to hear English people)

Very clean & the staff work very hard to maintain these high standards.

Beach is literally a 2 minute stroll down a path that has palm trees and other lovely plants on either side.

VERY close to local shops, (5 minute walk away)

Between 40 minutes & 1 hour transfer (depending how many drops & pick ups at other hotels.

Boat trips & Parasailing available if you're feeling adventurous.

Service

Staff were very friendly in all areas of the hotel (dispite the long hours they work)

Most staff could also speak other languages, particularly English.and were keen to learn more if you gave them the time.

Rooms are cleaned dayily. No need to take your own towels, they are available in the beach area (which are also changed daily if required)

There were a few disabled guests in wheelchairs staying at the same time as us, who were well cared for, even on the beach.the lifeguards even put sunloungers out for them right next to the water....great respect!

Gastronomy

There are various styles of food in the restaurants.(Turkish, Latin American, Fish, Italian)

All the food was cooked very well and tasted great..(Just don't forget you are in Turkey.Don't expect a 'Dominos Pizza on the Italian night). It was great, plenty of it and service was very good..(they even introduce everyone to the chef after your meal.....which is a nice personal touch)

The 2 Large pools are beautiful.the water feature on the 'quiet pool' was lovely.and for the kids in the larger pool, the slides are fantastic! The water is very cold, but very refreshing in 38 degree heat.also extremely clean and well filtered.

The entertainment team are amazing.(I don't know where they get their energy from).there is even keep fit, yoga, tennis courts.& lots more.

WI-FI internet access in the reception area so you can report back home on Facebook if you wanted to

For the amount of time you spend in the rooms, they were a good size (maybe slightly on the narrow side for 3 people walking past each other when getting ready, but not a problem)

The airconditioning seemed to get stronger as the time went on (but that may have been us adjusting to the hot climate?)

The showers are so powerful, just like being at home.(sometimes you need to run round to even get wet, but they are great.and the temperature was always good once adjusted to the way you like it)

New flat screen TV's in all rooms, which is nice to have the music channel on with the fishtank style screen saver while you're getting ready to go out.

The mini bar / fridges are not the best / coldest.however, it did the job for what we kept in it.(also there are free bottles of water in large fridges dotted all around the grounds of the hotel, so you never get dehydrated)

Very quiet hotel too.thick walls that drowns out any noise (also if the aircon is left on you can't hear anything)

The hotel is closing later in the year for massive refurbishment.so the little tweeks that needed addressing (not many I might add) will be well and truly sorted for next year!

Tips and recommendations

The price we paid for 11 nights in this hotel was the best value for money you could EVER wish for..(inevitably the prices will increase next year due to the refurbishment, but I would certainly be happy to pay more next time.....and there will be a next time).you don't need to spend a penny / lira..(unless you enjoy shopping)

September is a great time of year for Turkey, not too hot to sit in the sun all day (for most sun-loving people anyway)

Tip for :
Only 2 little tips I would like to give the hotel,
1. it would be a good idea to have a few extra sunshades on the beach, as the current ones are great, but they are static so don't move and if you would like to spend part of the day in the shade to cool off, it would be good to have one that you can move, so you don't have to encroach on anyone elses space as the sun moves round.

2. A couple of extra waiting staff in the main dining area would be helpful, as there are lots of guests to clear tables for and the staff were sometimes run off their feet and were unable to clear all the tables in time for the next guests (but I also have to mention, 'some' guests leave SO much food on the tables when they've finished their meals, it is hardly surprising)

for new guests:
Please don't go to Turkey & expect English food everyday.you will not get the 'bacon butties' you might have for breakfast at home.Remember you are in a foreign country and Staff work extremely hard and deserve every bit of respect you would like yourself. do not listen to any negativity or Winging & Whining from other guests.....In my humble opinion, they have no respect and should stay at home if they are not even willing to try anything new! (rant over, sorry, but it needed to be said. manners cost nothing!)

to hotel manager & staff:
Good luck with the refubishment & thank you for a great holiday from Mel, Keri & Anne (the P. clan from England).hope to see you again next year!!
