All that glitters is not gold. However, it was great *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThis was our second visit to the Mandalay Bay. This time we were six nights.
First, the location. It is located at the beginning of the strip at the level of the airport.
Not ideal, but okay. If you don't have a car, then you should bring good walking shoes.
Although, good shoes you need a car. The hotel is huge.
After you found the parking, the research began after the check in. As you walked the heels sore.
We were lucky, the check in was done in five minutes. Our room was on the 24. Floor.
There are a total of 16 high-speed elevators. eight large elevators for the first 17 floors. Then again eight for the rest of the floors.
Even when it was crowded you very quickly in the elevator.
Also one is fast at the top. You can even get pressure on the ears.
Now for the room
The bathroom is huge and super clean. The shower is a dream. Towels are plentiful available. The toilet is in a separate room. There are two sinks available. Television is also in the bathroom. The five stars is an understatement.
The room was huge. We had two large beds, the absolutely top. The room was pleasant temperature. Air-conditioning was quiet.
Actually everything is great. But there are also negative.
The fridge is already full. No chance, our own drinks to accommodate. I think, if you take the contents, it must pay.
The carpet is a little worn. But okay
Wi-Fi was a joke. Even in cheap motels it worked better. No one was on the surfing, there has also been increased. You constantly had to get new. In a five-star hotel an absolute no-go.
Otherwise there was in the room tv, desk, clock radio, iron, ironing board, safe, reading lamp on the bed. Plenty of electrical outlets are available.
Coffee machine does not give it.
Our room was on the pool side. At the first night was party. Since it was in 24. Floor too noisy. The first night there was also loud noises, and a bit of noise from the departing planes. The remaining days I but not as strong.
Now for the pool.
We have stayed twice at the main pool. There are several pools. The large is huge. Unfortunately, by nine o'clock be there. Otherwise there are about 200-300 the beach chairs were reserved with handtowels. The pool chairs stood very close together. I did not like.

The casino is huge. Since you can get really.

My Conclusion
The hotel is top notch. I would take it again. But if you all-inclusive hotels, is extremely stupid. Each extra is extremely expensive.
For a week stay you need a lot of money in their pockets.
