Hotel Marina

The situation is ideal. Directly at an hotel-own bath plateau. Nearly all rooms have direct or lateral sea view. The hotel lies lies approximately in the center, between Crikvenica and Selce. One goes in each case 20 minute up to the next place. Who would not like to run, this can drive all day long also wrongly with a small Bimmelbahn. Between the places. The bay lies opposite the island Krk and is somewhat wind-protected therefore. By the ideal situation one has many possibilities of exploring with bus, boat, car, bicycle or to foot the area.

The staff at the reception was very friendly and spoke very well German. We booked very at short notice (5 days) over Internet and to have no problems with the reservation or the payment (visas) had. It folded everything. The staff in the dining-hall was very friendly and spoke also very well German. The atmosphere was very calm and pleasant. The staff was very slow partly. The dirty table-ware was cleared partially very late. Between the order of the beverages and pouring out also sometimes 10 minutes passed. The room cleaning was also very superficial. The beds were made very dearless.

There is a dining-hall, a bar in the entrance hall and external bar. We did not use the external bar, since them had closed in the evening already at 18 o'clock. Harm, because the place would be to be enjoyed ideally over in the evening still another drink with view on the sea. The bar in the entrance hall is somewhat uncomfortable and it is missing also to something mood music. The restaurant is semicircularly built and one has a great prospect on the sea. In the first evening one receives a table for the duration of the stay assigned. The cleanliness of the tables and the buffet is very good. The beverage prices moderately. But the selection of the meals was already much disappointing. There were 2 differently soups. Both from the bag. The salad bar consisted only of raw food (tomato, cucumber, Kohl etc.) which one could arrange with differently sauces. The main foods consisted of 1 sort fish, 2 sorts meat, noodles with sauce, potatoes, rice and little vegetable. Those refeeds consisted of one mixes from differently small cakes and out fruits from the box. The quality and preparation was very good, the selection was much disappointing. The breakfast was good. The coffee was however hardly to be enjoyed. There was sausage, cheese, eggs, bacon, small sausage, juice, muesli, cake, fruits. But the selection was too little also here.

The hotel has a sea water pool, a sauna and a Fitnessraum in the cellar. The Fitnessraum was in a catastrophic condition. Our men had to repair the devices partially only once, so that we could use her. The sea water pool was so uncomfortable, which passed the desire against swimming. The cover was not totally rusty and it gave couches or seat possibilities for relaxes. No green plant or file possibilities. The sauna is put on only on order. At the bath plateau there are couches and screens to rent, showers and changing facilities. The water is very clean, one should however bath shoes put on (sea-hedgehog, rock, stones).

The rooms are very large, clean and decay furnished. The bed is enormous and very comfortable. File possibilities are sufficiently present. The bathroom is also very large. The bath tub is shower, the shower separation is not very close also at the same time, whereby there is regularly an inundation in the bath. 1 or 2 hooks is missing more. Otherwise however okay. The balcony is equipped with 1 table and 2 chairs. For humans with elevator fear, only causes suitably, since the railing consists only of metal ears, and one thereby down to look can.

I would visit the hotel again, since the situation is ideal. But I would book then only with breakfast, since the meal disappointed nevertheless very much. Holiday-makers with dog are here very welcome. The weather was rather bad, rain, storm etc. the region is beautiful nevertheless.
