Nice little hotel by the port of Izola *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIt's a small place (according to Website 52 rooms / 100 beds) , well-kept hotel, the overall a very clean impression. The supply any documentary assessed offer bed and breakfast in a double room (the harbor side with a balcony). Most guests came from Austria, Germany and Switzerland, but also from the former Yugoslavia. The restaurant was also very frequented by locals.
Location
The location, right in the old fishing harbor of Izola - with the old center within walking distance - allowed both walks in the town and stroll along the promenade. As Izola - at least for the start of the season - as expected more quiet and sleepy, but no entertainment "missed". Go on excursions - with a taxi or private car, there are to the istrisch-Slovenian countryside, after Portoroz, Piran and Koper and to Trieste. Also the Postojna cave are in approximately 50 kilometer distance. The excursion offer certainly does a 3 -4 day break.
The service was always attentive and courteous and made us no complaints
Gastronomy
The hotel features a for Slovenian very good restaurant with pleasant shaded terrace at the harbor. Especially the fish dishes were freshly caught and highly recommended

Room
The rooms are good size, well equipped and with the hotel Reviews with 3 stars. The hotel has obviously end of the 1990s created Grundsaniert respectively and valuable furnished. Because of the age of the decor can be found become quite signs of usage. The location of the rooms to the fishing harbor in is a bit INTERRUPTED than that to a small side street. This makes up a very nice view of the harbor. The balcony of the room in the 1 . top floor with about 10 -12 sqm invites you to stay.
