Hotel Marina

The hotel is directly because of the sea, only by the small uferstrasse from the sea separately. One has the choice between an hotel-own concrete bath plateau or on the bank along between different gravel beaches. In the neighboring place Crikvenica gives it even sand beaches. The local center Selce is about 1.5 km and Crikvenica about 3 km far away. In both places there are different business, bars and restaurants, whereby Crikvenica has a larger offer. Selce is against it a rather contemplative place. Both places have a nice port. Toward Crikvenica one can always erlaufen still further places at the sea along. The hinterland of the Kvarner bay can be explored great with the car. One can reach the Plitvicer lakes in about 2.5 hours. One reaches the Risnjak national park in about 1.5 hours. Rijeka lies about 1 hour far away and can from Germany also great with the course and/or night train be attained.

The staff was very friendly and forestalling. The coworkers with guest contact could well to very well German. With the room cleaning we were content. Since our transfer to the night train only at 18.00 o'clock took place us even the room allocation up to the evening without surcharge was permitted. The restaurant is much responding and clean. The selection of the meals is quite various, if unfortunately for our taste also too carefully one peppered. The straight Mediterranean kitchen offers large variety, which was here unfortunately hardly used with its great herbs. For breakfast we missed fresh fruit and to evening bread a larger selection of vegetables. All in all was the offer however okay.

The hotel has a sun terrace with being because of the swimming pool, a sauna its own bath plateau with couches and screens, and a small Fitnessraum. The water quality of the Adria is outstanding, super clear water and outstanding view. Tip: Absolutely snorkels! In the high season it could become somewhat close on the different bath plateaus and in the small gravel bays.

We had a very large, cosy, clean room with Terasse and sea view. The beds were class, the bath of the finest one and it were present generous reservoir. The existing foehn pleased me, from the hose came not in such a way only a laues Lüftchen. Foehn lasted so eternally. I would have been pleased in addition about a larger number of coat-hangers. The air conditioning system could be adjusted and was not not too loud.

Who needs a foehn for its hair-style, should its own carry forward. Absolutely with in the water go paying attention to sea-hedgehogs. Out of this reason we went nearly everywhere with bath shoes into the water. This gives to buy it also locally. The surrounding bath ranges have relatively little shade to offer - own sun screen is of advantage. We have ourselves of 5.6. - 16.6.2010 in the hotel stopped. In the first week still clearly the pre season, in the second week became increasingly fuller it was to be felt. In the high season July/August is surely very full it, but then more business, bars opened clearly…. The “Bimmelbahn” drove at our time also still very rarely.
