Well-kept city hotel in great location *

Modern and well-kept city hotel. Good location for exploring the city. We had a large, clean, modern double room. Very comfortable bed. Partly looks but you could walk around, that the hotel is "new" (the heyday during the Olympic Games 1996 ). To Peachtree Street, where it for example. Lots of restaurants nearby, it is only a stone's throw away. Also various attractions (like for example. World of coca-cola, Aquarium, etc. ) and the metro MARTA (the hotel is so good from the airport by metro) are nearby. "Shopping" in downtown Atlanta unfortunately more or less forget. Also the "underground" offers not as much (a bit dated and more for tourists). What the shopping recommendable was the Lenox Square (easy to reach with the MARTA). What also very recommendable was the visit of the Sun dial restaurant at the Westin (a little older, but great view of the city). We would the Marquis because of the great location and cleanliness definitely stay there again (of course only if the price is right).
