Hotel Marvel

2 mins to beach. lots of supermarkets and tourist shops close by. the seafront comes alive at night, land train takes ages and costs alot for a large group - use the buses on the main road!!

staff very friendly and helpful. most have very good english. the rooms were kept very clean, and the maids even made pretty things with the towels, which the children loved.

this was the only fault with the hotel. there was lots of food, but it was mainly continental, so no 'english fry up' and the children seemed to live on roast chicken, chips and ice cream. the hotel could be improved greatly just by having baked potatoes and a better toaster!! the bars were great and again the staff excellent. outside of the hotel drinks cost approx £1 each, so even though we were all inclusive drinking out was cheap.

the mini club was excellent, and caters for all ages. activities such as water polo and aerobics were also available in the pool. being only 5 foot i could only just touch the bottom in the big pool, however it was huge and the kids pool was fab, even having a slide!!

i had a large (even with the spare bed made) room with pool and seaview, balcony, fridge, telephone. the safe is by reception, and the porter assists your access to this. this is a lovely newish hotel which is kept beautifully clean.

excellent value for money.
