Hotel Matorral

The location of the hotel was ideal, about 200 meters and you're on the dream beach locations (no joke) in europe. The white sands and clear waters it could easily keep up with the caribbean.
On the way to the beach one goes to the long shopping promenade with tons of shops, restaurants and so on
To the harbor of morro jable you can either walk through the small streets or take bus. Also can be reached with buses all other places on the island at reasonable prices.
The shuttle took us this time only one hour, since we only three couples stayed in other hotels had to pay.
Of excursions is everything, from jeep safari to boat trips or island round travel. The Prices therefor are quite high, but mostly it is worthwhile this also.

Well, the service was the housekeeping staff as mentioned, not so special, which I hope has now improved, as new forces set were.
The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Since we had an old room, we asked for an exchange, which then after three days also problem-free folded.

The huge big plus of this hotel.
At first I had doubts, as there were always only buffet food was. But in retrospect, I must say, that the menu selection much more advantages. You get everything was fresh and warm, without the other people have already poked in it.
The breakfast had everything you could need (rolls, bread, cereal, sausage, cheese, jam, juices, coffee).
Also ahmed us every morning fresh scrambled eggs and pancakes grilled (many greetings at this point).
The drink prices were absolutely ok. Cocktails from 4.80 euros. Try the piña colada ☺
In the evening you could then, the best garlic with roll, between two starters (salad and soup) and two main courses (Fish, meat, noodles) select. And of course a dessert.
The food was just amazing. Always prepared with fresh ingredients, a lot of variety every day and very tasty.
You got the German (schnitzel, sirloin steak, chicken legs), as well as local dishes (as canary potatoes, spanish fish, stew with goats meat, spaghetti with seafood).
Large strong praise to the chef matthew and ahmed!

Pool area was ok, between palms and other plants. Sufficient Beach chairs and umbrellas available, with a view of the sea.
no entertainment, but rather a smaller hotel. But who needs that already...
The beach was very clean, far stretching to go for a stroll in the best way suitably. Two beach chairs and an umbrella for €1 nine on the day. Crystal-clear water without stones or plants stuff.

Old rooms not that nice, but the size was completely okay. Upon arrival at the best immediately after calling room, this is a great deal better.
Tv with three German channels, sitting area, balcony, two beds to assemble, bathroom with shower, full kitchenette with refrigerator, stove and dishes.

The overall impression is definitely positive. Important for us was the proximity to the beach and the food. There is the full score.

If the decision is still on a different hotel, you should be sure to check out the restaurant matorral (not only for hotel guests) to have eaten.

At this point we would like to thank you once again for matthew and ahmed, who gave us their food, warmth and humor a great vacation have brought.
