Quiet hotel in Palenque *

We, together travelers ten people, spent three nights at the hotel Maya tulipanes. It was already a bit older, but well maintained. Our room in the ground floor, facing the street so some rooms, parking, facilities and others with a window to the corridor of the hotel there. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom has a large shower, it is conveniently equipped. In the room there was unfortunately no safe. The beds were not good and through-convenient. The pool seemed a little dirty, but to the cooling, followed by a shower to use. In the restaurant we were able to have breakfast, it was a bit overpriced. We have inspected the ruins of Palenque in the morning and afternoon to the water falls and Misol ha Agua Azul threats, and we also wanted to bathe, everything looked a bit muddy from. Many Mexican families spend a few hours at the weekends. We can recommend in the evening to eat pizza from the furnace Muchos Panchán Don in the restaurant on the way to the ruins. There is live music to eat and lots of interesting types.
Outside the restaurant a marijuana odor blows through the forest, the intended to deter some guests. According to our driver is the area therefor, as we all know.
