Hotel Melia Las Antillas

Overall the hotel is a five-storey main building and several 2-storey buildings. I was on the third floor in one of the houses and was very pleased with the room. Except for the very old faucets in the shower/bathtub my room was in a very good condition (booked through Thomas cook a premium living room, which then automatically in the upper floors and is located close to the beach). The Junior suite was very spacious and had a sitting area, telephone, tv, free safe, minibar (daily refilled with beer, Fanta, sprite and Coca-Cola, as well as a large bottle of water and a half liter), air conditioning, hair dryer, as well as a rocking chair. The bed was raised. From the balcony you had a very nice view over the complex with lots of plants, ponds (the rays from and to, but all in all, it was not unbearable) and lush vegetation. The heart of the hotel was wonderful pool area. I should also like to say, that's not, as is often the case-the Jacuzzi the temperature of the pool had, but was very warm. On the daily activities I did mostly on the water volleyball or beach volleyball. In the latter instance, there is a section of the pool nearby, but in my opinion too few sand and it is the risk of injury is given at the jump. The second field is on the beach and better. The beach and the sea I would describe as nice (you could remove the seaweed and clean the beach), was my time high waves, so that, for example, diving and snorkeling was not so good. During the evening entertainment was often very much local singing, what a number of people was rather boring and monotonous was considered. Here was clearly more change asked! It was-depending on the show in the disco either full or empty! I personally, for example, the show 'music after decades' -for example, Lets twist again, lamabada, Michael Jackson, Abba, Blue Mountain, Bob Marley, Madonna, etc. except in the restaurant the drinks were served buffet always Einwegpappbechern, which on the one hand not especially eco-friendly and where I think the taste was not so good. Positive to mention is, that always very good Havana Club rum was used and nothing was stretched with water etc.! As it was my first vacation in ten years 'time was single, I would like to mention, that-at least in my travel/October November (18 days)-very many young and relaxed people on the ground were, I am therefore very uncomfortable and the length I felt that it was not too long. Often I was with many people to two or three o'clock in the disco and afterwards we have at the pool or in the lobby bar set! So I would also like to thank these people for a wonderful vacation! My special greats are going to Rosalie from Paris, Eyana and girlfriends in Argentina from Cordoba, my Canadian friends and Julia and Spanish were father marata from Russia. Also greetings to Steffi and Martin from Neuss, Mareike from near Stuttgart, Nicole and George from Mainz, as well as franzi from Dortmund! Furthermore, I have made a coach tour (two days from flight) to Havana with Vinales-valley and Pinal del Rio. As most of the night in the Tropicana-show (which according to which information was very good!), I was with a woman from Zurich in the Casa de La musica Miramar. There is a bar/disco, where 95% Cubans are this evening and I have found to be very nice. It was very interesting, that the Cuban rhythms lively and look at. As a man here you will of course very fine Cuban women umschwärmt! Havana itself well (for example, the bar en el floridita, where Hemingway his cocktails drink and the hotel, where he stayed), but very often here begging! The nature in Pinal del Rio and the Vinales-valley me very well! We stayed the night at the Melia Havana, which I found very good hotel. The coach tour were very nice people! Here I should like to Nikola and Andre from Olpe, Miriam and Jochen from Augsburg, Marion and Thomas from Erfurt, as well as the quality and his wife from Heidelberg say hello! The waiters and waitresses I would also like to mention, that-up to a few exceptions-all very nice and friendly. Here I should like Yitzy from the main restaurant and the animation team Teresa stress! The service was in the entire too unimaginative and often lukewarm! In total it was a great vacation and the hotel is absolutely to be recommended! Also, you cannot equate a Melia Hotel in Cuba with a on the Canaries or elsewhere, as here to 51% of the Cuban State the majority and the Melia Group shareholders is only! The evening entertainment and the food should be improved but, so that a very good vacation is a great!
