The Mercure loses clearly mark *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOn my first stay in Rio de Janeiro for me was the immediate proximity to the Kong department crucial; moreover, the hotel by the travel agent was advertised. The location is excellent, in immediate nearby are the Copocabana and Ipanema beaches; all sport facilities are within walking distance; in the neighboring building were surf and bike rental. The condition of the room 402 is not in accordance with the known Mercure hotels me, the ' bathroom is an apartment very small; vanity old, furniture in several areas of the apartments very worn. The front desk hardly spoke English, upon arrival not at all. The room was cleaned, but all the trash cans were not emptied from the previous guest, the shower always unfinished shower; the floor towel in the bathroom and dirty. It took two tries for the complaints, since the first attempt to no one spoke English or German. Very good in need of renovation. The pool was at the time of the inspection; the breakfast service was average. If you spend lots of time outside will make sure about these errors, but if you want to look worn and you want to stay in the hotel, you're looking for better one of the many other hotels in the area.
