Super nice hotel with spacious rooms *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe spent 8 nights at the Mercure Promenade des Anglais and loved it. The sea is across the street (unfortunately pebble beach but you knew that) and right under the hotel there are many Eikaufs and dining options. We had an ocean view room with balcony and if possible we got. The view was spectacular, the room was large clean and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. The TV has channels on many different languages. We had two lounge chairs and a table with chairs in the room. Everything was perfectly equipped and clean. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The street right under the hotel was always busy and so we had with an open balcony often car-noise. However, if you get both doors from the castle was nothing more to be heard and you could sleep in peace. The people at the front desk were always friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet was always varied and tasty. Bell staff brought us always fresh coffee and were very attentive. There is a stop from the airport to the hotel. (4 Euros)(taxi 30 euros). Excursions to Monaco and Cannes is best by train as by bus you had to Cannes 2 hours and the bus was crowded. ( Train station about 15 minutes from the hotel. ) Conclusion: great hotel and great value for money I can only recommend.
