Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AIf you wanted to go to the hotel into Malia Meropi runs must not expect luxury hotel. We had expected a bit more than what the travel agent (FTI) online had advertised: for instance satellite TV, is among those is but ( so far) in any of the rooms available as a reception area Impart us ... Your tickets for the satellite-areas were ordered for six months, but not there yet. For us it wasn't so bad, because we did not look TV flew in the holiday, but for a few families was a good thing bad. The rooms are spartan. Good found the apartment-style guestrooms are, so you can add a few things up and, where appropriate time in the breakfast room if you want to. The cleanliness of the room I have to say that we were not really loved it ... There were totgeschlagene mosquitos on the walls ... Not very appetizing. The bathroom looked like before the last World War. I have stayed all over the game chipped, the fixtures dilapidated. There was no shower curtain, so having shower tends to soak the ... Was not as bad as it is a Ablaufrinne was, but oh well. We found the food in hotel good though, it was not the mega selection, but everything that was really tasty. The was something there for everyone is what you didn't like it was normal. Fresh vegetables and fruit was also offered every day. The made pizza was first class. The service staff in the restaurant and at the front desk were very nice and very helpful. If you treat the staff also reasonably friendly opposite force, you get your kindness and back. Unfortunately, we didn't think some Hotelgäster and quite rude to the staff, so there's no need to take be surprised if you the next day with a Strahlelächeln not welcome. The surroundings: Dear families with children, guests can enjoy and those looking for the "traditional" Crete are: Please don't go to Malia travel! Malia is a small place with many hotels, restaurants and bars ... But everything laid out for tourists. The town is 90 % of young British the only really one in their mind:, drinking, drinking! From 23 hours the decrease quality enormous and you were witness chavs vomiting everywhere in English underpants and wear thongs, the bit tottering when we walked through the alleys and ourselves vermöbelt if we have the opportunity. If you're up driving into the mountains, one experienced the "old" Malia ... What out to be rather nice is, however I would still Cretan life if you really want to explore more to Ierapetra, Agios Nikoloas or Chania ... We stayed in these areas and found it really fantastic.
