Paradise or Banana Republic? *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOur review is for the main building. The rooms in the garden new building and in the bungalows we didn't see, but of other guests were also not particularly. A shame! The myth of Mauritius is now unfortunately destroyed and the disappointment was large. The island is total overrated and everything, really everything is total overpaid. Once we have looked at other hotels and some land excursions and boat trips to allegedly paradise places and the dirt, the dead corals benches, dealing with the nature, the rip-off and the widespread poverty of the population have seen, I just wonder why this myth of paradise for so many years is this banana republic. Of course if I only from the airport on the new highway with darkened windows directly into the five stars Resort and there will be only from the room to the beach and the golf course move, then it can be, that you feel like you're in Paradise feel, but it sure nothing in the case of Mauritius, and could easily also in a much closer Gran Canaria be the case. Now, we have visited compared last Mexico-the yukatan, Cancun and the coast Maya and some Maya cities, as could learn a slice of Mauritius, which sometimes even at half the money I would offer absolutely recommend. And the Mexican conceal the fact, that it was a triple world country. We will visit Mauritius now a second time, and advice to all get a close look at what you spent so much money, nicer and even cheaper alternatives surely enough.
