Good location, but very worn room *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ACheck-in and check-out with the tour operator worked very well. Tel Aviv is a good starting point, in order to visit other places in Israel. The location of the hotel is great, as there was both the beach, as well as various restaurants, shops, etc. are very easily accesible on foot. Since it is a city hotel, must of course with the usual road noise should be expected. Positive: the lobby area of the hotel is very nicely designed, in addition, you must not take advantage of free wireless Internet, in addition, there are two computers in the lobby places, which you could use for free. Not so good: the layout of the room was obviously already a few years old, everything seemed quite worn, needed. It was clean but (except for the carpet, which some of them were more stains). The bathroom (tub with shower and shower curtain, toilet, sink) was relatively small and clearly a bit older, but clean. The safe was closed when we arrived, had to by the staff of the hotel be opened (assume, that it should be, when you have a room for new guests is ready). Works has the safe but it didn't, couldn't be locked. The cleaning personnel worked properly, but not over the top. It was, for example, the bedspread, the evening at the zubettgehen have declined, the whole week in the corner under a small table, where we had left. Approved, this would again and again on the bed or at least made properly stored in the closet, for example. Our pyjamas we found somewhere else every day before: time 'geknuddelt' on the pillows, on the bedside table, even on a chair (we know it from other hotels not so; as the pyjamas were always carefully in the bed). It was of course not bad, but that surprised us. Negative: the staff at the front desk was friendly, but not the cleverest impression. Our tour operator has tried twice, us by fax to give information. Both times is nothing arrived, also on request at the front desk know anybody. There were shrugged shoulders but also, for example, no one is in the office went adjoining, in order to ask colleagues to the fax. The tour operator had requested by phone with us all.
