We have the musical'king the lions' visited and looked therefor a cheap hotel in a good location for an overnight stay. As we were traveling by car, the michaelis hof was perfect for us. The price of the room was in comparison other hotels Hamburger city center low and included the parking in the underground car park (with barrier and rolling door). The parking lot offer from the other hotels is rather poor. The room was very quiet and very clean. The check-in of a machine and check-out at the front desk. The staff was very friendly and in the morning front desk Croissants and coffee/tea ready. The hotel has, I believe, not a lot of entertainment to offer-but who needs it with a city break? We stayed in ten minute walk along the harbor or at the hotel or in the old city the location is really great if my wife and I have a city break with the car to make hh, then in any case again in the michaelmas hof.
