Charming quiet Hotel in the inner City Center
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe first IMpression of Hotel Miraparque was: Whow, how friendly they are. It was not that kind of behaviour thats means: I want your tip. From the first minute, the staff was realy motivated to help us with our luggage, to show us the room and to answer all our questions ( and we had a lot about this lovely city) We got good information waht to to. Looking to the rates, I expected a poor hotel with low standard, but we found a nice hotel in a realy quiet street with friendly staff, the rooms are big enough and well equiped ( 3 star standard) and we enjoed a view direct into the Eduardo VII Park. Breakfast was also included in the lowcost rate.
Location
The hotel is sizuated direct at the Marquês de Pombal. This is the starting point for all relevant sigtseeing bsuu companies of Lissabon. 2 min away, there is a metro station and if you are travelling by car, there are a lot of public parking lots near to the hotel free of charge.
From the airport, it takes you 30 min with the public bus transport ( No. 44 or 745 ) or the airport shuttle.
Direct beside the hotel , there are some small shops and snack bars, 10 min walking and you will reach the old time with its nice sightseeing sites , shops and restaurants.
As mentioned above, the staff is nice. Also the staff in the restaurant is quick with preparing the tables and the buffet. The cleanings are done in a sufficent way.
Gastronomy
At Miraparque Hotel, you´ll find a standard breakfast, which one generally finds in Mediterranean 3 star hotels. There is something for everyones taste (cereals, bread, egg and cheese and some fruit). But you should not expect too much from breakfast.

Room
The rooms are convincing with their quiet location and beautiful views of the park and the skyline of Lisbon.
Otherwise, the rooms are equipped with two good 90 x 200 beds, a flat screen TV is available in inside cabinet there is enough space for a weekend stay. A large mini-bar and a safe are available.
Something simple is the bathroom with its shower. Despite a room at the the 6th floor there was always enough water pressure and hot water at the shower at every time. However, the tiles in the bathroom but have been on at one point or another a little mold. This should be maybe a reason for a special cleaning.
Tips and recommendations
The higher the floor, the better the view:) Rooms to the pac side are realy quiet.
It is not a mistake to buy a 2 day ticket for the bus sigtseeing ( available a the hotel desk with no extra costs) , which is starting close to the hotel. If there is more than 2 days availiable, you further should by a 48 h h ticket for the public transport ( 9,60 Euro adult), that allows you to use all busses, metro, the good old tram and the elevators - a must !
