Hotel Mitsis Roda Beach

The proximity to the beach is class. To foot after Roda no problem is with favorable wind. In the Café Nemo can out-rave themselves the children also with rains in the hopping castle. The transfer from the airport takes 45 minutes in the best case (direct distance). If however the east coast is abgeklappert and times as the latter is set off, it can take also 2 hours! Over budget we rented a jeep quite favorably for three days and congratulated us several times to the choice of the vehicle. Road conditions are partly bad.

First of all to supply hat off before the logistic achievement this multiplicity at guests with meals and beverages! Since it is an AI-enterprise, sometimes the friendliness remains (and with some coworkers nearly always) on the distance. German, English mostly is understood well and with a smile and hands and feet is understood goes the remainder. The room cleaning functioned well, was sometimes somewhat early for our taste, but but it gives describes in such a way for the door….; -) Which did not fold at all with us, with that the mini bar was. We a Superior room had booked (to the room later more), but that somehow had probably inclined gone. So we had to bore daily, mostly several times after that those was filled mini bar. There was a care of children of the hotel, which had straight one day freely as our children wanted and like that are we (thank God! ) in the Baadingo club of the TUI landed. Our girls were enthusiastically, particularly from the monster meal with following family discotheque. Unfortunately it will give no more Baadingo club in the next season! For us the selection and also the quality of the meals were super! Greek courts were offered, in addition, was considered to the preferences of the guest nations. The three topic restaurants at the beach offered a beautiful alternation, however it becomes somewhat uncomfortable, if it pours and the wind from the sea-side comes. Unfortunate it was that those had constantly closed pool bar at the family pool.

We did not use the animation offered by the hotel (child animation S.O.). However the general animation at the pool was sometimes somewhat loud and annoying. Only sometimes we always got a couch, had one the suitable spot with sun to look for each other, since it became fast cold in the shade. It was fascinating that the water was clearly colder in the pool than the sea.

We had a family room. Since it had not folded so completely with the superior, 4 beds were in the large room, were only unfortunately missing the Glaswand, which would have made some more Privatsphäre possible in the evening. We could have exchanged the rooms after 3 days, however approximately one in the 1. Stick. Since it rained nevertheless occasionally doll, the considered terrace with direct pool entrance was more important to us. The equipment made a quite new impression. Unfortunately it smelled very moldy and the curtains and headings of the cradles packed in plastics suggested that it can become already times damp. We had that only in the bathroom: The discharge of the bath tub was obviously leaky. Reaction of the reception: That would be because of the weather, cannot not be changed and if it disturbs, we are to call the charwoman, would come once again specially! We left the towels on the soil then after showering and went then it. The strong rainfalls led not only to occasional power failure, but to a second humid area in our bathroom: Behind the mirror likewise water stepped out and looked for themselves its way into the discharge…. There I would not like to know, how it looked in the obviously not reconditioned little houses in the row behind us!

The weather was borderline. In the last days it was once again completely beautiful. We could escape two rain days in Roda, there we with the car to agio Stephanos drove. There better weather and somewhat more beach than at were the hotel. The water was also some more warmer. Probably we recovered and to have us also otherwise (up to the little things mentioned) felt good.
