Relaxing weekend in a beautiful hotel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ANice 4 -star hotel offers modern rooms, very clean and well looked after. We stayed in the upper floor in a corner room with a view of the lake and the highway. However we found no street noise. The house was very quiet despite strong occupation. We had booked bed/breakfast and had a dinner incl. The guest structure was mixed from young to old Dutch and German. Very pleasant clientele.
Location
The location was very good as direct motorway access and at the same time 5 minutes away a bus connection to the center for 2 Euro 2 people there and back. The bus goes until after midnight every 10 minutes, where it's still. Approximate driving time is 5 minutes and you are in the center, in a very pretty town with lots of little shops, nice bars and restaurants.
Friendly staff throughout the hotel. Everything was great!
Gastronomy
We ate twice in the evening as the Mövenpickküche generally very good. Since we had rain we prefered the hotel food was prepared very tasty. The breakfast buffet was okay. There was everything, what today is a 4 -star hotel to offer. Everyone was enough to get full.

Smaller but very comfortable modern rooms with good mattresses and very well maintained.
Tips and recommendations
The city and, in particular the cathedral very worth seeing. Nice shopping. We had a trip to Vlissingen on the lake. There sun and drive on Dutch highways makes thanks speed limits, no building sites and well-built, fun.
