Absolutely recommendable! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AI have Christmas and the new year in Lucerne spent and I felt very comfortable in the hotel Monopol. The hotel lies super central location, close to the train station, two minutes walking distance from the mooring, five minutes from the beautiful old town and the bus station in front of the door with very good connections in all directions. I had a room facing the sea with a fantastic view. An escalator which takes you directly from the hotel train station with many shops. Even at Christmas and new year can one to 22 o'clock shopping. The rooms are very tastefully equipped with all comfort such as safe, mini bar, sitting area and the bathroom was very clean and everything worked. I am very felt comfortable. From 6.30 o'clock breakfast is served from the buffet which really leaves nothing to be desired, particularly more delicious were the great fresh bread rolls and crunchy great I was also, that ice cubes for those orange juice is. The breakfast room is really large, has a very pleasant atmosphere and it not annoying radio music or as otherwise in many hotels. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and you feel really welcome and as the guest. I can really only recommend this hotel, the service and location are fantastic!
